Top Rated Convertible Cribs

Besides the car seat and stroller, a crib is one of the most important items you will purchase.

We’ve put together our favorite group of top rated convertible cribs and some considerations below before purchasing.

Besides the color and the finish, it’s important to consider how you will use a crib with multiple children.

For instance, all five of our top rated, best selling cribs* below are convertible cribs. This means they turn into daybeds, toddler beds and then eventually into a full-sized bed.

We have a convertible crib and love it, as we’ll use it for each of our children. The last child will eventually get the converted full bed frame!

Some of the things you may want to consider in purchasing a convertible crib:

  • Assembly – is the crib difficult to assemble? Be sure to check out our reviews below.
  • Size – Can it fit through a door? Most cribs need to be assembled in the room they will be in.  Also, most cribs are rectangular but there are some cribs out there that are circular or square as well.
  • Multiple mattress levels – As children get older, they may be able to climb out. Be sure your crib goes down to lower levels as they get bigger.
  • Finish – does it go with your other furniture (if that matters to you?) Also consider that you may need protective covers as some children like to gnaw on the sides.
